• What does it cost to become a Guardian Certified Installer

  The cost of being a Guardian Certified Installer is £99 per year. This provides access to certification, TrustMark eligibility, training, technical support, marketing assets, homeowner leads (where applicable), and ongoing business support.

• What support will I receive to help me sell Guardian systems?

  Guardian Certified Installers receive extensive sales, marketing, and business development support. This includes access to Business Development Managers who work closely with you to help grow your sales, improve conversion, and maximise opportunities.

  Support includes:

  • Sales guidance and best-practice advice
  • Marketing materials and adaptable assets
  • Support with quoting, presentations, and homeowner conversations
  • Assistance with business growth strategies

  Guardian operates as a true partner, not just a supplier.

• Do I need new skills or additional trades?

  No. Guardian systems are designed to work with your existing skills and team. No specialist trades or major new investment is required.

• Is the training compulsory?

  Yes. Training ensures consistent quality across the Certified Installer network and is a requirement for both Guardian certification and TrustMark registration.

• Is the assessment difficult?

  No. The assessment is short and designed to confirm understanding — not to catch installers out. It reflects what is covered during training.

• What happens if something is picked up during the TrustMark audit?

  If any improvements are identified, Guardian will work with you to resolve them. The audit process is supportive and focused on maintaining standards, not penalising installers.

• Is the TrustMark audit a site visit?

  In most cases, no. Audits are completed remotely using submitted photographs and job information, keeping disruption to a minimum.

• How long does my certification last?

  Certification is ongoing, provided installers continue to meet Guardian and TrustMark standards and complete the required audit.

• Will I receive support after certification?

  Yes. Certified Installers benefit from ongoing technical support, marketing assistance, business development guidance, and access to Guardian’s wider support and fabricator network

• Am I Certified to install the Guardian Home Extension now?

  No, you are not, but it is a great step towards certification. You will need to have an in-depth presentation of the Home Extension by our technical expert and will have to have completed one extension under first fit supervision to gain certification, but having the Warm Roof Certification will make this much easier.
