  • No. The assessment is short and designed to confirm understanding — not to catch installers out. It reflects what is covered during training.

  • If any improvements are identified, Guardian will work with you to resolve them. The audit process is supportive and focused on maintaining standards, not penalising installers.

  • In most cases, no. Audits are completed remotely using submitted photographs and job information, keeping disruption to a minimum.

  • Certification is ongoing, provided installers continue to meet Guardian and TrustMark standards and complete the required audit.

  • Yes. Certified Installers benefit from ongoing technical support, marketing assistance, business development guidance, and access to Guardian’s wider support and fabricator network

  • No, you are not, but it is a great step towards certification. You will need to have an in-depth presentation of the Home Extension by our technical expert and will have to have completed one extension under first fit supervision to gain certification, but having the Warm Roof Certification will make this much easier.
